¡Bienvenidos!
Dear parents and students,
Your son/daughter has embarked on the adventure of learning a new language. It will be a fun and exciting journey. We will be learning basic Spanish vocabulary and the present tense of verbs. I expect that all students will choose to actively participate on this great Spanish voyage where we will learn, not only the language, but also the cultures of Spanish countries. To stay aboard without harm to their grade, students must do all the work to the best of their ability and, most importantly, speak Spanish.
The class rules are as follows:
- Students need to be in their seats and ready to work when the bell rings.
- Students should arrive everyday prepared and ready to learn. They should have all the materials necessary (pencil, pen, textbook, workbook, notebook and agenda).
- All assignments need to be turned in on time. Assignments should be ready at the beginning of the period. NO late work will be accepted.
- Those students with excused absences have two days to make up tests and assignments. It is their responsibility to figure out what the assignment was.
- Students will not eat, drink or chew gum in class and will not have cell phones or MP3 players out.
- Students are allowed a maximum of two bath room passes per semester.
- Students will be expected to participate and speak Spanish at all times.
